Because I've been lacking in entries..
I love Saturdays because I get to spend an excusable
30 minutes in the shower without getting nagged at! :)
And why is that so?
Because it is Satur-Scrub-Day!
A self-declared pampering day for a well deserved me!
Lemme share with you guys my 3 favourite scrubs!
For my hair, I'm currently using the Garnier Fructis range
which is a raved about brand from one of my favourite youtube gurus'.
After shampoo and conditioner, I finish off the routine by
slathering on a generous amount of Garnier Fructis Butter Mask!
I kinda love the previous Garnier Fructis Hair Mask that I was
using, but it was in German and uh, I didn't know what mask it was,
aside from the fact that it was for damage control. I absolutely loved it
because it smelt great and it left my hair feeling fuckin' awesome!!
But because my bestfriend couldn't find me the same mask, she got
this Butter Mask for me instead to try out! :) I like it, but don't love it!
Here's what it looks like!
Yeah, it looks and feels exactly like butter!
The mask is targetted for dry, damaged and stressed out hair!
After lathering with soap, I use The Body Shop's Black Olive & Argan Oil Scrub.
I was never into body scrubs because I thought it was
unnecessary until a friend had recommended me to use a scrub
for my back acne problem! I used to use the Ettusais's Acne Mist,
but it only minimized the problem and didn't really get rid of it.
A lady at The Body Shop had recommended me the Spa Scrub range
and between the two scrubs that I had tested, I kinda liked this one
better because it smelt alot more exotic and relaxing!
This is how the texture looks like,
I love that the exfoliant are alot smaller then the regular scrubs,
because it is much gentler on the skin! I love my body scrub the most!
It feels and smell damn good! I could soak in a tub smelling like this forever!
More importantly, I hardly have much problems with my back acne now!
And lastly, after cleansing/double cleansing my face,
I scrub my face with the St. Ive's Invigorating Apricot Scrub!
I love how it smells but I have to say that it doesn't really
do much for me. It doesn't make blackheads any easier to remove.
It probably just does what any other general exfoliants does.
The beads are alot bigger, so it is pretty rough on the face.
It hurts my face pretty badly especially after a facial, when my
face is still feeling pretty sore after all the extraction.
Will be switching scrubs next month, as recommended by
my facial therapist to aid the recover of my complexion.
I have recently switched from the normal type of facial treatment
that I would do, to help with the scarring and my eye bags.
So the switch has kinda caused my face to breakout again.
Nevertheless, my complexion looks alot better now!
It's been about 4 months since I've started going for regular facial
treatments, so hopefully it heals within the next 3-4 months!
Anyway, until the next entry!
